HiveMoments is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining a safe, trusted platform for event hosts and guests.
In simple terms: HiveMoments helps you collect and share event memories privately, and we only use your information to make that experience work safely and reliably.
1. Overview
HiveMoments is a private event photo and media sharing service. This Privacy Policy describes how HiveMoments collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when people create accounts, manage events, upload media, visit galleries, or otherwise interact with the service.

- HiveMoments processes information to provide private event sharing, gallery access, guest uploads, moderation tools, and related support functions.
- The categories of information processed may vary depending on whether you are an account holder, event organizer, guest uploader, viewer, or billing contact.
2. Information We Collect
HiveMoments collects information directly from users and from normal operation of the service. Depending on how HiveMoments is used, that may include the following categories of information:

- Cookies, analytics, and similar technology data where applicable, including information used for necessary site functionality, performance measurement, and analytics when enabled.
- We use third-party infrastructure providers including Cloudflare (for image and video delivery) and Stripe (for payment processing). These providers may process limited personal data as necessary to perform their services.
3. How We Use Information

4. User Content and Media Handling
HiveMoments is designed to process and store user-uploaded media in order to operate private event galleries and related features. This includes photos, videos, captions, comments, and related content submitted by hosts and guests.
Users retain ownership of the content they upload to HiveMoments. By uploading content, you grant HiveMoments a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
Uploaded media may also include metadata supplied by the device, browser, or file itself. HiveMoments may use technical processing to optimize delivery, generate previews, improve performance, detect abuse, and support service functionality.
Hosts and event organizers may control certain sharing settings, including whether content is approved, visible, or downloadable. Guest uploads may be visible to event organizers and other permitted participants depending on event settings.
HiveMoments does not claim ownership of user content and does not use it for purposes unrelated to providing the service.
Content uploaded to HiveMoments is private by default but may be shared via event links or access controls configured by the event host.
We process personal data based on legitimate interest, contract fulfillment, and user consent where applicable.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
HiveMoments may share information only in limited circumstances that are reasonably necessary to operate the service, support transactions, protect users, or meet legal obligations. HiveMoments does not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with:
- Service providers, infrastructure vendors, and analytics providers that help operate HiveMoments. This includes providers responsible for hosting, content delivery, media storage, and performance optimization.
- HiveMoments uses trusted third-party infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, for content delivery, media storage (including images, video streaming, and object storage), and performance optimization. These providers may process data on our behalf as necessary to deliver the service.
- Payment processors. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). HiveMoments does not store full payment card details on its servers.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
- To enforce platform policies, investigate misuse, prevent fraud, or protect the safety and rights of users or the public.
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, where applicable law allows and appropriate safeguards are applied.
All third-party providers are required to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy and security standards.
