This page explains how HiveMoments handles copyright and other intellectual property complaints relating to content available through the service.
1. Overview
HiveMoments respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the service to do the same. HiveMoments may host user-submitted photos, videos, captions, comments, and related event content, and it may receive complaints alleging that some of that material infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
This page explains how HiveMoments accepts and reviews copyright and related intellectual property complaints. It is intended to be practical and consumer-readable and does not provide legal advice.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content available through HiveMoments infringes your copyright, send a complaint to legal@buildwithtfs.com or write to Tradeforce Systems, LLC, Attn: Privacy, 1621 Central Ave #8904, Cheyenne, WY 82001. To help HiveMoments review the issue efficiently, your notice should include enough detail for the allegedly infringed work and the allegedly infringing material to be identified clearly.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The specific location of the allegedly infringing material on HiveMoments, such as an event link, gallery link, screenshot, file description, or other identifying details.
- Your name and contact details so HiveMoments can reach you if additional information is needed.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on the rights holder’s behalf.
3. Response Process
When HiveMoments receives a copyright complaint, it may review the report, compare it to the content at issue, request more information from the complainant or the affected user, and take interim action while the matter is being evaluated.
Depending on the circumstances, HiveMoments may remove content, disable access to content, restrict sharing, suspend event links, or otherwise limit availability of the material while investigating the complaint.
4. Repeat Infringement and Abusive Notices
HiveMoments may take action against accounts or events associated with repeated or serious infringement, including content removal, access restrictions, event suspension, or account suspension or termination where HiveMoments believes that is appropriate.
HiveMoments may also reject, disregard, or respond appropriately to complaints that appear incomplete, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or submitted in bad faith. Sending knowingly false or abusive notices can create harm for users and the service and may itself be treated as misuse of the platform.
5. Counter-Notice and Review Requests
If your content was removed or restricted because of a complaint and you believe that happened in error, you may contact HiveMoments at legal@buildwithtfs.com with enough information for the original report and affected content to be identified. HiveMoments may request additional detail before deciding whether any content should be restored or any restriction should be changed.
- Explain why you believe the complaint was mistaken, incomplete, or directed at the wrong material.
- Include the event or gallery link, your contact information, and any details that help identify the removed or restricted content.
6. Trademark and Other Intellectual Property Complaints
HiveMoments may also review complaints involving trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other intellectual property or personal rights concerns. You may submit those complaints through the same contact channel at legal@buildwithtfs.com, with enough detail for HiveMoments to understand the right involved, the material at issue, and the basis of the complaint.
7. Contact
For copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property complaints, contact HiveMoments at legal@buildwithtfs.com or write to Tradeforce Systems, LLC, Attn: Privacy, 1621 Central Ave #8904, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Include enough detail for the content, the claimed right, and your authority to be identified so the report can be reviewed.
